Fortex Max is a cap sensitive emulsion explosive with a diameter range of 28mm to 38 mm with formulation for excellent fragmentation for underground blasting applications except for atmospheres containing underground gases such as methane. Thanks to its high energy and detonation velocity, it offers perfect solutions in all types of rock formations. Fortex MAX, which is waterproof, shows successful results both in dry and wet holes. It contains aluminum to enhance heave. Fortex Max can be used as a replacement for dynamites in tunneling.

Store this product in a suitably licensed magazine for class 1.1D explosives. The cases should be stacked in the manner designated on the cases. Product has a storage life up to 12 months in an approved magazine.

- It can be used safely in harsh field conditions, in the range of -20/+40°C.
- It should be used together with Electric Detonator (No:8 strength), Non-Electric Detonator, Electronic Detonator or Detonating Cord (10 gr/m and above).
- Impact should never be applied with a metal stemming bar inside the hole. If necessary, it should be inserted into the hole using a wooden stemming bar, avoiding any impact.
- It is not recommended for use on reactive grounds or when the ground temperature exceeds 40°C.
Booster Sensitive Explosive
Fortex-700 is a booster sensitive explosive delivered from mixing Anfo with emulsion, and it can be used safely in all types of blasting operations.
