Vagexco Sh.P.K. is one of the biggest explosives companies in Balkan region. We have our own production of ANFO, fully operational NON-EL assembly line and in June 2025 we completed a fully automated and modern emulsion production line which adapts the latest and most advanced technology in production methodology. and Safety regulations.
We provide our customers with certified and high-quality products, and we succeed on that by our long-term co-operation with our suppliers which are global leaders in explosives division like DYNO NOBEL and YARA International.
VAGEXCO starts to operate in November 2008 when it finished the investment of created the most innovative, modern and safe magazines complex at Albania which they constructed according to the international guidelines and regulations.
In 2011 VAGEXCO started to build its own ANFO plant. In co-operation with the world leader explosives manufacturer ORICA, we have built the most modern ANFO plant in Balkans with production capacity of 6TN per hour.
The production started in May 2012. The product ANFO exal and the whole production procedure was certified by BAM (Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing of Germany).
In 2016 we commenced the production of NON-EL detonators with production capacity of 2100 pcs per shift. In parallel the company expanded exports in Balkan regions.
In 2025: Significant industrial growth marked by the commissioning of the Emulsion (Bulk/Cartridge) plant by BOWAS tech.
